Review: Best Face scrubs

Hello all,
Thank you for checking out my blog...:-)

I just wanted to do a quick review on face scrubs that I have tried and have loved.  Exfoliating the face is an excellent step in one's beauty routine, no matter what your skin type. There are many great face scrubs that can be found at your local drug store and department stores. Ranging from $2.99-$30(or more) . No matter what your budget is, there is a great scrub out there for you.

All of the face scrubs mentioned have been purchased with my own money

1. Queen Helene Cocoa Butter Natural Facial scrub ($4.99 at local beauty supply store)

This is a great scrub, it gently exfoliates and evens out the skin. It should be used about 3 times a week, I think any more could potentially irritate  the skin.  You can definetly see a more glowing face after just one use. The grains are a bit on the caorse side so please do not over do the scrubbing. This is definetly a staple cheapie  product that I think can be incorporated into everyone's beauty routine. It is also suitable for all skin types.

2. St. Ives Apricot Face Scrub ($3.97 at local Walmart but can be found on sale for $2.99)
This is by far one of my favourite face scrubs. After just one use you see results. I have been using this product for years and always come back to it. This product really does clear up the skin while  also helps  remove excess oils. The apricot shell does an amazing job of removing flakes as well and the grains are not too coarse so you can use up to three times per week.  There are a few different formulations (blackhead blemish control, aging skin, exfoliating). I would say chose the one that's suitable to your own skin type. I have nothing but great things to say about this scrub and its a steal, price wise. If you have not tried this scrub, please RUN out and try it. PLEASE!!

3. Clinque Exfoliating Scrub (Sephora or The Bay..$22.00)

This is a great staple as well, it is a bit pricey, however its catered specifically for oilier skins. If you have normal or dry skin I would not recommend this. I believe that it  does have peppermint because it tingles a bit (should check ingredients) . I think once a week or once every two weeks is sufficient. I recommend this product if you have a more combination/oily or oily skin. It does go a bit deeper that the previous two scrubs.  If you can afford to splurge on this scrub go ahead. I would do this whenever I am doing a facial every few weeks or so.

*** If you have never used an exfoliating scrub and you are new to it, i say go for St. Ives, it is cheap and extremely effective***
